The NYIGF® is pleased to once again present A+ the young designers’ platform at Accent on Design®.  Launched in February 2008 as an “incubator” program, A+ showcases emerging talent, pre-selected by the Accent on Design Selection Committee on the basis of design concept, creativity and originality.  Young designers can really make their mark at A+: The Young Designer's Platform, where the emphasis is on innovation and the opportunity is unlimited. New designers, in business for one year or less, can submit their designs, prototypes or products, and the selected participants will be awarded prime display space in A+ at Accent on Design®.

Accent on Design features a juried collection of over 200 contemporary designers such as Alessi, Areaware, Artecnica, Chilewich, Design House Stockholm, Stelton and other industry leaders. The division is a critical resource for thousands of leading design retailers such as MOSS, MOMA, MXYPLYZYK, Design Within Reach, The Future Perfect and Matter. For new designers looking to increase their exposure within the design community and launch a manufacturing business, it's nothing less than an A+ opportunity!

• Design students, recent graduates and emerging companies (in business for one year or less) are invited to submit an application.

• Designers will be juried by the Accent on Design selection committee based on design concept, creativity and originality.
